Excerpt from story: "Speaking as a Honduran, I was unprepared to see the gravity of the needs in the lives of those which are helped by SMART Teams. As a Honduran, I had no idea that such severe problems existed in the lives of my own people.  The least I can do is help SMART in their efforts in my country...  Each trip is a new adventure with new and different volunteers performing new and different surgeries, clinics or other projects.  Every time I join a group I leave with the great feeling of having helped real people with real needs. "
