Gonzalez
Dr.
Gonzalez is a native of Toledo, OH. He graduated from Denison
University in Granville, OH with a BS degree in 1989. He went on to
obtain his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of
Medicine in Iowa City, IA. Dr. Gonzalez then completed both his
general surgical and urologic residency training at the McGaw
Medical Center, Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Gonzalez's clinical interests include male
urethral reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive / laparoscopic
surgery, stone disease, and general urology. His research interests
include prostate cancer and cancer screening, information technology
and electronic medical record development, and clinical outcomes
research for minimally invasive surgery and prostate cancer
treatment.
Dr.
Gonzalez also has an interest in international medicine as he
coordinates a surgical relief mission to Central America comprised
of Northwestern University Urologists each year.
